GRADING

TERMS OF SALE

Grading is a subjective description representing the opinion of the cataloguer or grading service as to the state of preservation of an individual coin. "Proof" is used to describe a method of manufacture and in no way describes grade or condition of a particular coin. All such terms, including adjectival and numerical descriptions of coins, are the opinion of the third-party grading service (PCGS, NGC, ICG, ANACS) and are not an attribution. No warranty, whether expressed or implied, is made with respect to such opinions, which vary among experts. In addition, no warranty is made that a coin has not been cleaned or repaired, or that the toning of any item is natural, or that there is absence of any other defect which would render it unsuitable for encapsulation by any grading service. The buyer is reminded that past performance of any coin can in no way be used to predict future price performance. The buyer should consider these coins strictly as collectibles and any investment advice should be obtained from the buyer's personal financial consultants. For more information on grading, see our Grading Services or visit PCGS and NGC on the World Wide Web.
